What we collect

• Details you give us when you enquire by WhatsApp, phone, email or social media, such as your name, phone number, email address, the course you are interested in and the messages you send.
• Details you enter when you book a campus visit on appointment.pastryart-academy.com, such as your name, phone number and preferred visit time.
• Details we need when you enrol, such as your full name as it should appear on certificates, contact details, payment records and course progress.
• Information collected automatically when you browse this website, such as pages viewed, device and browser type, approximate location, how you arrived at the site and whether you tapped to contact us. This is collected through cookies and similar technologies (see below).

How we use it

• To reply to your enquiries and arrange campus visits.
• To register you for courses, run classes, issue receipts and certificates, and keep training records.
• To register learners on endorsed courses with the awarding body.
• To send you updates about intakes and offers, only where you have agreed. You can ask us to stop at any time.
• To understand how our website is used, improve it and measure our advertising.

We do not sell your personal data.

Cookies, analytics and advertising

This website uses Google Analytics, Google Ads and the Meta Pixel. These services use cookies and similar technologies to tell us how visitors use the site and to show and measure our ads on Google, Facebook and Instagram. They may combine this with information they already hold about you under their own privacy policies.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, opt out of Google Analytics with Google's browser add-on, and manage ad personalisation in your Google and Meta account settings. The site still works if you do.

Google services used by our internal tools

Our internal reporting tools connect to Google services, such as Google Business Profile, Google Search Console and Google Analytics, through our own Google account. They read performance figures about our own business, for example how many people viewed our Business Profile or clicked through to our website. These figures are aggregated, do not identify you, are used only for our internal reporting, and are never sold, shared or used for advertising.

Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Who we share it with

• Service providers that help us run the academy and this website, such as website hosting, messaging (WhatsApp), analytics and advertising services, who may only use it to provide their service to us.
• The awarding body, when we register you on an endorsed course.
• Authorities or others where the law requires it, or to protect our rights and the safety of our learners and staff.

How long we keep it

We keep personal data only as long as we need it for the purposes above, or longer where the law requires, for example financial and training records. After that we delete it or make it anonymous.

Your rights

You may ask to access or correct the personal data we hold about you, withdraw your consent, or ask us to limit how we use it, including stopping marketing messages. Contact us using the details below and we will reply within 21 days. If you are under 18, please contact us together with a parent or guardian.

Keeping it safe

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data from loss, misuse and unauthorised access. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to keep your data safe.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed. If the English and Chinese versions differ, the English version applies.
